But they probably don't. Why would they? Most of them have jobs doing other things.
You need to lead them to understanding fundraising. When you do that, you will reap amazing rewards. They'll be better at finding and raising funds. They'll give more themselves. And they'll do a lot less destructive micromanaging!

- Fundraising isn't begging. It's partnership. Begging doesn't work very well!
- There's plenty of money to go around. A lot of other charities are asking your donors, but they aren't locking you out!
- Before asking others, give money yourself. You need to participate in the miracle of philanthropy to really get it.
- Asking in person is best. You might find it intimidating, but asking face to face is much more effective than any other way.
- Show gratitude in a thoughtful way. True fundraising includes thanking. You need to be just as good at that as at asking.
