| Valerie Armstrong pictured with her husband Seamus THE family of Valerie Armstrong are to respect the late mother-of-three’s wishes to donate her organs, according to a priest who knows the family.
Valerie Armstrong, from Poleglass in west Belfast, died late last night at the Royal Victoria Hospital. She had been knocked down by a scrambler on Tuesday evening while walking her dog in Colin Glen park.
Fr Vincent Cushnahan, from the Nativity parish in Poleglass, said the death was a “tremendous tragedy.”
“It's the sudden arbitrary nature of this tragedy which is so shocking,” Fr Cushnahan told BBC Radio's Good Morning Ulster.
