A couple in Oklahoma decided to reject abortion after their baby was diagnosed with anencephaly.
A couple rejected the idea of abortion for their baby who was diagnosed with anencephaly. Despite this terrible diagnosis, they decided to keep their daughter. They considered that the organs of their disabled daughter could be used to save the lives of other babies. This heartbreaking news made this couple stronger.
They are aware of the effects of the disease which causes their baby to have a malformed brain and head. Usually, this condition prevents the child from developing properly. Nevertheless, there were cases in which these babies were able to live for several months or even years, debunking any medical myth.
