Funny, cheeky and embarrassed by having his photo taken - meet Lennox Nicholson, the brave battler who ten years ago today received a life-saving liver transplant after an 11th hour appeal.
Lennox was just six months old when his family was told he had two weeks to find a donor liver or he would die.
The vital operation came on December 13, 2005, after a desperate appeal for organ donors made through the Gazette.
Ten years on, Lennox is a normal 10-year-old who loves school, his computer games and walking the family dog Lara. Continue reading
