Thetford Academy Graduate’s Gifts Celebrated

Thetford — By her senior year at Thetford Academy, Marley Sirjane knew two things for sure.

First, she wanted to spend her working life helping people in medical need.

Second, should she not live long enough to carry out that mission, she wanted to help people by donating her organs and tissue for transplants.

The interest in becoming a donor “really started around the age of 16,” her mother, Penny Sirjane, recalled last weekend. “She’d decided by 17.” Continue reading
