SAYRE, Pa. (18 NEWS) - David Webster laid on the operating table, his heart was failing and time was running out.
He needed a new organ and then came good news.
"A miracle happened and within two days, I had a heart," Webster said.
After a full recovery, Webster is happy to be here.
Sharing his story, and encouraging everyone to become a donor.
"There's not one reason why you shouldn't be a donor," Webster said. "It saves so many lives."
April is National Donate Life Month. Robert Packer in Sayre raises a flag to celebrate the occasion.
