It’s not unusual for Rick and Dona Skaggs to celebrate two birthdays a year for their grown son Jeremy.
“Feb. 27 and Jan. 27 of every year. We as parents were able to give the gift of life twice, once on the day he was born and second on the day he received his kidney,” Dona Skaggs said.
Jeremy Skaggs, 32, was diagnosed 14 years ago with end stage renal failure during a physical examination for football in his senior year at Pueblo County High School. Continue reading
