Following the success of its King Richard III Appeal, Leicester Cathedral is replacing its aging charity software with Harlequin CRM. In a project set to go-live in the New Year, the Cathedral has invested in a seven user system from Harlequin along with the Events and Volunteers modules.

Claire Recordon, Marketing and Development Officer at Leicester Cathedral Charitable Trust says:

“We were outgrowing our previous system and the time had come to change. We have many long-term supporters and as a result of the Appeal, have many new ones – all of whom need to be looked after sensitively and efficiently to build deep rooted relationships.

“After two years of watching the charity CRM marketplace, we invested in Harlequin CRM because so many people recommended it. We have looked at the system extensively and are convinced of its capabilities. As a company, Harlequin is a good fit for the Cathedral – they are a well-established, family business and highly personable. Already our initial project days have been reassuring.

“Long into the future, Harlequin CRM will ensure we deliver best practice in donation processing, donor stewardship, campaign and event management, grant applications and volunteer management.”

Tom Ellis, Managing Director of Harlequin adds:

“Data migration is an important part of Leicester Cathedral’s project to enable its wealth of information to be built on. After a November set-up and installation, testing and training is planned for early December with go-live in the New Year.

“Leicester Cathedral is our ninth cathedral client – it is a real privilege to be the preferred partner for all these organisations. Our cathedral user group will bring them together to share insights, feedback ideas and maximise their use of Harlequin CRM”.
