Hand on Heart has one objective – to help reduce the number of young people who die from sudden cardiac arrest (SCA). Twelve young people every week will suffer a fatal cardiac arrest, of which 270 a year will take place on school premises. Hand on Heart works with schools across the UK to achieve their goal by training members of staff and children in CPR and providing the school with a defibrillator
