Pardon me if I get a little bit commercial here. But this is a super-cool job, and I have a feeling the person who should have the job reads this blog.

Moceanic is looking for a Project Manager. Not just any project manager, but a super-smart, amazingly flexible, fun, cool, and ready to help change the world ...

  • Not a whip-cracking nazi (though you need a little of that in you).
  • Not a nasal-voiced whiner who bugs people about deadlines in a way that makes them want to leap in front of a speeding bus (though bugging people about deadlines -- including me -- is a piece of it).
  • Not a robot (though you'll need robot-like precision).
  • Not a flake (though you have to love flakes).

Maybe you can tell I've worked with a lot of different project managers. Some of them turn every task into a smelly quagmire, a Sisyphean nightmare, a Gordian Knot that takes forever -- or longer -- to untangle. That's not you.

You're the other kind of project manager.

You're the kind that makes every project feel like a condor, gliding high above the snowy peaks without a twitch of the wings. You make projects feel like this:

P6x0U

If you're able to handle a lot of projects ... many of them newly invented projects that are like airplanes being built while they fly over the Himalayas ... you'll love this job.

I know you're out there!

Just one little catch.

You need to be located in or not too many time zones away from Australia. Somewhere between India on the west and Hawaii on the east. That's a lot of really wonderful territory.

But let me make that clear.

You'd have to live someplace like....

India

India

Bangkok, Thailand

Bangkok

Hong Kong

Hongkong

Sydney, Australia

Sydney

New Zealand

Newzealand

Japan

Japan

Hawaii

Hawaii

Or Guam. Or Nagaland. Or Siberia. Or the Spice Islands. Or Outer Mongolia. It's a lot of territory.

That's not going to kill you, is it?

If this is right for you, go for it.

Go. For. It.

Here's the job description.

Or skip that and fill out this questionnaire.

I hope to be working with you soon!
