LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A young athlete is preparing for a basketball game. But in this game, everyone wins. It’s because this game will help people, who need organ transplants, to get them.
Riley Speck is shooting hoops. He’s just like any other 11-year-old boy. But, not quite.
“I had a disease called restrictive cardiomyopathy,” says Speck.
At 18 months old, Speck had to have a heart transplant. “I had the most deadly of them,” he says.
