LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Before Thursday, Clay Graham knew David Scott. But not well.
We've had a couple classes together," Graham said. "I've talked to him a lot. But we weren't particularly close or anything."
Graham and Scott are both doctoral students in philosophy at the University of Kentucky.
They were colleagues. Now they are, in a way, inseparable.
"There's a weird sort of intimacy between us now," Graham said. "You know, my organ is in his body."
When WKYT first introduced you to David Scott in February, his kidneys were failing. He was on dialysis until he could get a transplant.
