The Institute of Fundraising’s Researchers in Fundraising (RiF) Committee are seeking RiF Awards entries to its new Prospect Research Impact Award category.
Entry requirements are an innovative piece of work that demonstrates the researcher has made a real impact to the performance of a team, fundraising campaign or to the profile of the prospect research community in the UK.
This year, RiF has combined its Impact, Innovation and Analysis Awards into a collective Impact Award, but are asking for nominations for two sub-categories in recognition of the different challenges prospect researchers face in these different environments:
- Organisations with income greater than £10 million.
- Organisations with income of less than £10 million.
Examples might be:
- Identifying and championing the solicitation of a prospect who made a transformational gift to your organisation.
- Developing and implementing a prospect management system to better manage prospect portfolios.
- Using data analysis to efficiently and successfully drive a fundraising campaign forward.
For the Impact award, RiF is interested in projects that have come to fruition between the dates of July 2015 and June 2016. Three months’ leeway either side is allowable but the bulk of the project should have been between these dates. These can be self-nominated or nominated by colleagues and team members.
The deadline for nominations is 5pm Friday 30th September, and nomination forms can be found here:
- Organisations with income greater than £10 million.
- Organisations with income of less than £10 million.
