A new media platform that combines a video display with a coin-operated changing room locker is providing WaterAid with a new fundraising avenue.
The Hope Locker has been created by production agency MediaMonks, and encourages microdonations by playing a short video explaining how to use the locker, and then when the user returns, asking them if they would like to donate their coin to charity.
The locker is being tested by WaterAid, which has partnered with Proximity London to target the fitness industry. When people return to the lockers, a video asks if they have swallowed any water during their swim. They are then served a personalised message telling them that in the exact time they were swimming, dirty water killed one child per minute in the developing world, and told “Your £1 could give a child safe drinking water for 4 months” before being prompted to either take back their coin, or donate it.
As well as collecting microdonations, the technology also allows the donor to register their details with the charity.
Charlotte Forrest, special projects manager from WaterAid, said:
“This idea is really different and innovative, and there’s a clear link to our vision and values as an organisation. We’re really excited to see how the idea can be further developed after the encouraging test results.”

You may also use Ideals virtual data room for data keeping in cloud. I think is will be a good addition.
