A Cinderford woman given just two weeks to live, has pledged to devote her life to getting people to sign up for organ donation, after her life was saved by a liver transplant.
Nicola Merry, 36, received the devastating news in 2003.
She had been feeling poorly for a couple of years, and put it down to a bug.
The news, was, she said, 'mind-blowing'.
Nicola first become unwell complaining of pains in her shoulder while travelling Europe with her husband Paul in 2001.
Upon returning to the UK, tests finally revealed that Nicola had epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (EHE) and needed a liver transplant within six weeks. Continue reading
