Confidence radiated from Pamela Powell as she walked into the packed room, gripped the microphone in her hand and gazed at the audience before her velvety, hearty voice filled the air.
When she glanced to her left and saw the familiar, encouraging face of Fenton Township resident Sharon Stone, with whom she's developed a bond after an unimaginable tragedy drew their families together, Powell beamed as a hush fell over the room.
