ATLANTA, GA (ABC) - Time was running out for a National Guardsman to have a kidney transplant before his military contract expired.
Dustin Brown was in Stage 5 kidney failure and was also about to lose his insurance until a Marine Corps Veteran showed up to help. Brown is set to leave Emory University Hospital in a great deal of pain, but with a new kidney that he literally found on Facebook.
A Georgia family, organ recipients themselves, posted this photo of the 28-year-old National Guardsmen, and his family.
