Dash for Donations’ held its 2nd annual 5K and 2K on Saturday, starting at OK Ward Park in Pocatello.<br /><br />About 190 participants walked or ran in the event. ‘Dash for Donations’ officials say last year the region had around 102 donors that saved close to 350 lives. 68 percent of Idahoan’s are registered donors and there is a 90 percent donor consent rate in the region.<br /><br />KPVI brought you the story about Katie Tonks, the young woman who lost her life and was an organ donor.
