A Longview face was at the head of a winning float in Friday's Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California.
The floragraph on the float is a portrait of fast-food worker and volunteer referee Lynden Bell, who died when a drunken driver's vehicle struck him while he was walking in November 2012.
The Donate Life float, titled "Treasure Life's Journey," was one of 24 floats recognized by judges at the 127th Rose Parade. The float honors people who had their organs donated.
Bell's family chose to donate his organs, which have been used to save three lives. Continue reading
