Good HQ is a new digital platform created by SCVO that “encourages the public to share their experiences of the causes they care about and discover new ways to get involved”.
The Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO) developed the site to improve trust and transparency in the charity sector, and give members of the public a space to share their experiences of the causes they care about. Good HQ, which is still in beta, is “a space where good causes and the public can come together, share and learn from each other”.
Organisations already using the platform include Guide Dogs Scotland, Princes Trust Scotland, Euan’s Guide, Friends of Oban Community Park and Broomhouse Community One Stop Shop.
SCVO are inviting feedback from organisations and members of the public to help develop the site further.
A spokesperson for Euan’s Guide said:
“Good HQ has been a surprising and exciting platform for us since its launch this year! To read how Euan’s Guide has been making a difference to the lives of disabled people, their friends and families has been inspiring. So many people have shared their feedback with us, and it’s fantastic to have a dedicated platform for this.”
Lauren Pluss, Good HQ Community Manager, added:
“We’re now working towards adding all charities in Scotland to the platform which we hope to achieve over the coming months, and are looking forward to more and more people sharing their experiences on Good HQ.”
