Grab a jersey and show your true colours on Jersey Day, Friday, September 2. That’s the heartfelt plea from the Gremmo brothers, Greg Inglis and Paul Gallen.
The family is urging schools and businesses to support the event by allowing students and employees to wear their favourite sporting jersey and talk about organ donation.
And league heavyweights, including Inglis and Gallen, have thrown their support behind the campaign too, filming videos for the cause.
Their Jersey Day campaign, to highlight the DonateLife message, is in memory of 13-year-old Nathan Gremmo, who died in a road accident in Glenhaven in 2015.
He had spoken to his father about organ donation just weeks before the accident.
His parents Michael and Kylie said their son’s gift helped five people and a baby but also moved others to become organ donors. VIDEO, continue reading
