HUNTLEY- Fifteen years ago, a 37-year-old woman died from a brain aneurysm.
As an organ donor, Mary Ropp helped save and make life better for several people.
LifeCenter Northwest and Sight Life honored the memory of Ropp and others, in a celebration to highlight heroes of organ donation at Chancey's Event Center on Saturday.
The group included families whose loved ones donated and the recipients of those organs.
Organ donations can help a grieving family and save a life or make life better for others.
