Chartered accountants and business advisers Kingston Smith is searching for a charity to become its first Charity Partner.

Its inaugural Charity Partner Programme offers an opportunity for one charity to become actively engaged with Kingston Smith and to benefit from a tailored package of support. This will include staff volunteering, fundraising events and donations, logistical and practical support, and access to a wide range of relevant skills and advice.

The initial partnership will run until December 2017.

To be eligible, a charity must:

  • be a registered charity in England and Wales.
  • be based in or around London. National charities that have local offices or services in this area may be considered.
  • have projects that the firm can actively support and get involved – this could include fundraising, volunteering, or providing skilled services pro bono
  • addresses social disadvantage in an innovative way
  • be of a size where Kingston Smith can “make a real difference as a significant partner”
  • be able to allocate an account manager to work with the firm to develop the partnership

Martin Muirhead, Senior Partner at Kingston Smith, said:

“As a firm, we have always been passionate about supporting charities and committed to the communities that we serve, with several long-term volunteering and fundraising initiatives in place. We are thrilled to be launching this new Charity Partner Programme, which will help provide a specific focus for our people to engage with on many levels. We look forward to partnering with a charity to help support them in reaching their potential.”

Eligible charities are invited to apply for to the Kingston Smith Charity Partner Programme by 31 August 2016.
