POYNETTE, Wis. (WMTV) --- Five years after their son died in a car accident a Poynette famIly.
Cory Adams was an organ donor and his family has found meaning and close friendship through this journey. On Saturday, a run/walk was held in honor of Cory and to raise awareness about organ donation.
For the past five years, Krista Adams and her family have been holding events like this run, encouraging people to become organ donors.
"It's about trying to get the word out and honor Cory and his memory," she said.
Cory died in a car accident. His organs were donated to four people facing serious illnesses.
"At that point I didn't really realize how it was going to help us. I knew it was going to help other people," Krista Adams said. Continue reading
