In response to the UK’s vote to leave the EU last month (‘Brexit’), the Institute of Fundraising added a session to today’s timetable at the National Convention to weigh up the possible implications for fundraising and the charity sector.
Peter Lewis, CEO of the Institute, introduced a panel of five to share their views and, where possible, their advice. A large audience attended to hear from:
- Laura Blake, Partner, Connect Communications
- Karl Wilding, Director of Public Policy and Volunteering, NCVO
- Caron Bradshaw, CEO, Charity Finance Group
- Tim Hunter, Director of Fundraising, Oxfam GB
- Angela Kitching, Head of External Affairs, Age UK
