Women from all across New Orleans joined friends and family at the Metairie Country Club on Oct. 21 to celebrate life at Legacy Donor Foundation's first annual Fall In Love Luncheon. The aim of event Chair Heidi Saporito was to raise funds through ticket sales, the silent auction, and donations to aid the foundation's mission of education and awareness about organ, eye and tissue donations and how to register in Louisiana. Currently, there are over 2,000 candidates in the state waiting for an organ donation.

The luncheon also offered guests a chance to spend time with speaker, writer and life coach Paige Nolan, a native of New Orleans. During her speech, Nolan spoke about how a donation affected a family member. Continue reading
