Not a day passes that Steven Shearing doesn't think about the organ donor who saved his life.
Born with a hole in his heart, the Southlander's blood circulation was so bad a chocolate biscuit wouldn't melt in his hand. A lung transplant just over a decade ago changed that.
"I was always cold," he said.
In the last ten years he has been married, got divorced, become a silage contractor and met his current partner and her three girls. Continue reading
