MUM who could not breathe by herself and was given weeks to live has made it home for Christmas, after a double lung transplant saved her life.

Norwood. Two months ago Ashley, who suffers from cystic fibrosis, became so unwell her lung capacity dropped to just 16 per cent and a machine was performing her breathing for her.
