AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- A local mom's tragedy becomes another man's miracle.
Mary Fallen's son, 28-year-old Rashad Boynton, was killed after a fight at a club back in 2013.
Thanks to organ donation, Rashad's heart gave another man life.
Now, two and a half years later, Rashad's mom is meeting the man who got her son's heart. News 12 takes you to the moment they met.
They were steps he never knew he'd take, walking toward the family of the man whose heart now beat inside his chest.
