Josh participated in a climb-a-thon to benefit climbing coach Stacey Collver.
Josh Levin was a break out star on season eight of American Ninja Warrior. The rookie stunned everyone by becoming the only person to complete the Los Angeles City Finals course. He defeated Stage One at the National Finals and made it all the way to the Double Wedge on Stage Two.He also tirelessly worked to raise awareness for his first climbing coach, Stacey Collver. Stacey has a degenerative lung disease and has already undergone one double lung transplant. Now in chronic rejection, Stacey needs another rare double lung transplant and is currently on a waiting list.
Josh used his time on the show to support Stacey and encourage people to learn more about organ donation. Now that the show has wrapped for the season, Josh’s work is not done.
On November 6, he took part in a climb-a-thon. Josh and his friends set a goal to climb the height of Mount Everest, 29,029 feet. They sought out donations for Stacey and gave themselves two hours to climb their hearts out at PG Sunnyvale Climbing Gym in California. Continue reading
