DECATUR - HSHS St. Mary's Hospital is hosting an interfaith celebration of life and thanksgiving on November 10 to honor organ donors and recipients.
Officials say the event is being held at 10:30 a.m. at 1800 East Lake Shore Drive in Decatur. The celebration will include music and a candle lighting ceremony, and donors, recipients, and individuals waiting on the transplant list will be represented.
This event is being held as part of the National Donor Sabbath, according to HSHS St. Mary's Hospital officials.
