Lane Graves legacy lives on through other children

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) -- His bright blue eyes and tragic story made our nation stop. But most of all, Lane Graves' death was felt right here in our community.

Tonight, the beautiful way his family is honoring their son by helping other families.

It was June 14th. A moment at Walt Disney World that no parent could ever imagine. Lane Graves was making sandcastles on the beach when he was attacked by an alligator. But through his death, comes new life and hope for other families.

Lane's parents created the Lane Thomas Foundation to help families whose children receive organ transplants.
