LITTLE ELM – In the Anderson house, life is about faith and football – Cowboys football.

On a recent game night, it doesn’t take long to see that the family of three is a tight knit group. There’s also a special bond between father and daughter that clearly started early, and never stopped.

"I've always been attached to his hip. Always wanted to do what he was doing,” said Alicyn Anderson, 22. "He’s like my best friend."

That's why the memories of six years ago are so tough.

Ronnie Anderson, 47, was rushed to the hospital after watching a Cowboys game for what the family thought was a heart attack. He was having trouble breathing, and by the time they got to the emergency room he could barely stand on his own two feet. Continue reading
