VT hits the highest percentage of registered Organ & Tissue Donors to date
973 Transplants in New England to date in 2016
Montpelier, VT – State House – Monday December 12th at 11:30 AM, Governor Peter Shumlin will be honored with the 2016 Donate Life Vermont Person of the Year Award after VT reached the highest monthly percentage of registered organ and tissue donors to date. Health Commissioner Harry Chen, DMV Commissioner Robert Ide, members of the VT Advisory Council on Organ and Tissue Donation, and individuals personally touched by organ donation will share their stories.
