He was described as a little man who was tough as nails but also kind and giving.

That’s how friends and family remembered Dante Perez Saturday at Blackout MMA and Fitness in Sierra Vista.

Last month, Perez was in a crash and hit a tree. After fighting for his life for man than a week, Perez passed away a local hospital.

Rene and Jose Perez, Dante's parents, were shocked to see just how many lives their son touched. Dozens of people showed up to celebrate the 21-year-old.

Dante was an Jiu Jitsu instructor at the gym and his parents said he loved teaching the kids. He was know for giving his time and energy to others. Continue reading
